William Scott Schneider brings to his practice of law a teamwork approach, excellent relationship building skills, ability to work closely with clients with a broad range of needs, and experience with the special relationship and needs of children and their parents. These personal assets marked his prior career as a nationally acclaimed, elite figure skating coach, recognized by peers and students as one of the leading figures in the field.
Mr. Schneider earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver College of Law in 1995 and was admitted to the Colorado Bar that same year. A long time area resident, he also graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado in Boulder in 1981 and from the Colorado Academy in Denver in 1976.
His field of concentration is family law including divorce, child support and custody issues, adoption and guardianships. Mr. Schneider is also prepared to service his clients in criminal defense, in real estate and land transactions, as well as in litigation and appeals. He has also contributed his legal talents to volunteer groups, working with the Colorado Bar Association "Thursday Night Bar" and with Colorado Lawyers for the Arts.
